Fitting/changing the saw
blade

WARNING! Risk of injury!
Always switch the product off,
remove the battery pack[3] and
let the product cool down before
making any adjustments.

CAUTION! Risk of injury!
Saw blades are sharp and can
become hot during use. Always wear
protective gloves when handling saw
blades.
m
NOTICE! Risk of property
damage!
u The teeth of the saw blade[6] must point
downwards.
1. Turn the quick-release chuck[8] in the
direction of the arrow until it stops. Hold the
quick-release chuck in this position.
2. Push the saw blade[6] into the quick-
release chuck[8] until it stops.
3. Release the quick-release chuck[8] so that
it returns to its initial position.
4. The saw blade[6] is now locked.
Operation
Switching on/off
m
CAUTION! Risk of injury!
Always wear protective gloves when
handling or working with the product.

CAUTION! Risk of injury!
u Before switching on the product: Ensure
the saw blade[6] is not in contact with
the workpiece.
u Ensure your stance is stable. Always hold
the product firmly with both hands while
working.

CAUTION! Risk of injury!
u Keep your hands away from the saw
blade[6] when the product is in
operation.
NOTE
u You cannot lock the on/off switch[5] for
continuous operation.
Switching on
1. Release the switch lock[1] by pushing it in
on the left or right side.
2. Press and hold the on/off switch[5].
3. Regulate the speed as required by
changing the amount of pressure on the
on/off switch[5].
Switching off
1. Release the on/off switch[5].
2. When releasing the on/off switch[5], the
switch lock[1] moves back into its original
position.
Working instructions
m
CAUTION! Risk of injury and
damage to property!
u Wear protective gloves when handling
the saw blade[6]. In this way, you avoid
injury from cuts.
u Do not use any blunt or bent saw blades
or saw blades which are damaged in
any other way.
u Before sawing the workpiece, check for
hidden foreign objects such as nails and
screws and remove them.
u Always insert a suitable saw blade.
u Secure the workpiece with the aid of
clamping devices on the workbench.
u Apply only as much pressure as is
required for sawing. If there is excessive
pressure, the saw blade may bend and
break.
