8.2. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE FILTERS
WASHABLE AND REACTIVATABLE ACTIVE HIGH EFFICIENCY CARBON FILTERS (FCLR AE)
(Optional depending on version, for hoods in filter mode)
In normal use of the hood at the average operating speed, after successive regeneration cycles, the FCLR
AE carbon filter tends to have less capacity to absorb smells. It is recommended to change the filter every
10 cycles of reactivated, 900 hours of use or 2.5 years (average daily use 1h).
DISPOSAL OR RECYCLING OF FCA, FCLR AE AND FCCR AE FILTERS:
Regarding disposal, legislation requires all the carbon used to the analysed first and then disposed of according
to the results of the analysis. In the case of domestic use, the compounds absorbed are not harmful for the
environment and can therefore be disposed of as non-recyclable waste, in compliance with national and local
regulations.
You can dispose of an exhausted filter in a centre or Clean Point for collection or local recycling point.
It is not recommended to regenerate any filter loaded with contaminants that are poisonous, dangerous,
explosive or harmful for the environment.
