(b) If the undesirable reduction is very significant, do not do it suddenly, but rather make partial reductions,
for example, from Ø150mm to Ø120mm, first reduce from Ø150 to Ø135, use a straight section 0.5-1m
long of Ø135 and then apply a second reduction from Ø135 to Ø120mm.

(c) Do not place curves or bends just before or after a reduction.
D. It is recommended to use conduits with minimum losses due to friction, therefore the walls should be as
smooth as possible, in the case of flexible conduits, stretch them out well so the corrugated walls are as
smooth as possible, this will improve suction as well as reduce noise levels.
E. The outlet to the exterior must not be blocked by elements that could reduce its natural section or obstruct
the outlet. When connecting to a common flue, the outlet must be as indicated in the illustrations.
