6. Battery Linking Features
6.3 PAGlink enables you to link batteries and discharge them
simultaneously. Instead of leaving your spare battery in the
camera bag you can start your day’s shooting with 2 linked
batteries on your camera and experience a number of benefits.
Linking batteries combines their capacities into one large power
source that you can unlink, and fly with legally. Individual Li-Ion
batteries that have capacities greater than 160Wh are banned
from passenger aircraft.
The combined capacity extends the run-time of your camera set-
up. Two linked 150Wh batteries will provide 300Wh; a 150Wh and
a 99Wh battery linked will provide 249Wh.
Linking batteries increases the maximum continuous current draw
capability to 12A, provided the batteries linked are in a similar
SoC.
