USING THE BROIL FUNCTION
The Adjustable Broil allows the oven to broil at any temperature. It’s great for
melting cheese at 150º F or cooking fish at 400º F. Adjust as needed.
1. Open the Countertop Oven Doors. For instructions on how to safely
open the doors, see the “Opening the Countertop Oven Doors”
section.
2. If necessary, remove Wire Rack or Bake Pan from oven.
3. Place food on Wire Rack or in Bake Pan.
4. Carefully place Wire Rack with food in oven or place Bake Pan
with food on Wire Rack in oven. See the “Positioning Rack” and
“Positioning Pan” sections.
TIP: To ensure food doesn’t stick to the baking pan, use oil or butter to
coat the pan.
5. Close oven glass doors completely.
6. Turn the Function Selector knob to “Broil”.
7. Turn the Temperature Control knob to the desired temperature.
8. Turn the Timer Control knob to desired cook time.
NOTE: If the cooking time is less than 20 minutes, turn the Timer
Control knob past the 20-minute mark to engage it and then return to
the desired time.
9. When Broiling is complete, open doors completely and remove food.
CAUTION: COOKED FOOD, METAL RACKS, AND DOORS CAN
BE VERY HOT; HANDLE THEM WITH CARE. DO NOT LEAVE THE
COUNTERTOP OVEN UNATTENDED.
HELPFUL TIPS
• There may be moisture condensation on glass door and disappear a while later for baking
food with moisture, which is normal condition.
• Defrosted food needs to be cooked immediately after defrosting.
• Frozen food or lean meat requires longer baking time.
• DO NOT open glass doors frequently to avoid reducing heat.
• If baking frozen bread or many pieces of bread, the toast shade may need to be set darker.
• There may be smoking during baking, so reduce extra fat to avoid smoke
• Smaller food cuts generally need a shorter cooking time than larger foods.
• A larger quantity of food requires a slightly longer cooking time, while a smaller quantity
requires a slightly shorter cooking time.
• Stirring or shaking smaller foods halfway through cooking enhances even cooking.
• Adding a small amount of oil to fresh potatoes can create a crispier texture. Within a few
minutes of adding the oil, cook your ingredients in the Countertop Oven using the Air Fryer
function.
• Avoid air frying very greasy foods, like sausages, in the Countertop Oven.
• Snacks that can be cooked in an oven can also be cooked in the Countertop Oven.
• The Countertop Oven can also be used to reheat foods. To reheat foods, set the
temperature to 300°F (150° C) and cook for up to 10 minutes.
