USING THE TOAST FUNCTION
1. Open the Countertop Oven Doors. For instructions on how to safely
open the doors, see the “Opening the Countertop Oven Doors”
section.
2. If necessary, remove Wire Rack from oven.
3. Place food on Wire Rack.
4. Carefully slide the Wire Rack with food into oven.
TIP: For best toasting results, position the rack in the middle position.
See the “Positioning Rack” section.
5. Close oven glass doors completely.
6. Turn the Function Selector knob to “Toast”. Both the top and bottom
heater elements will operate.
7. Turn the Temperature Control knob to 450ºF (230°C).
8. To set the timer, turn the Timer Control knob past the 20-minute mark
to engage the timer switch and set it back to the desired toast time.
NOTE: Different types of bread require different settings. Lighter
breads and waffles require a lighter setting, while darker breads,
muffins, and English muffins require a darker setting.
9. When toasting is complete, a bell will sound. Open doors completely
and remove food.
CAUTION: COOKED FOOD, METAL RACKS, AND DOORS CAN
BE VERY HOT; HANDLE THEM WITH CARE. DO NOT LEAVE THE
COUNTERTOP OVEN UNATTENDED.
