4 Operating Elements and Connections

No. Element Function
1 POWER switch Turns power to the unit on and off.
2 INPUT control Controls the input level of channel A in stereo mode with ±12 dB of
gain. In mono mode, only the channel A input level control is active.
3 LOW CUT switch Selects the Butterworth high-pass filter (12 dB/octave at 40 Hz) to
protect your subwoofers. An LED indicates the selection.
Note: Please keep this filter active unless you need these extremely
low frequencies at any rate. If your speaker system does not support
these low frequencies, there is danger of speaker damage.
4 X-OVER FREQ control
Selects the crossover point between the low and high frequencies of
channel A in stereo mode and between the low and mid frequencies in
mono mode. The range is either 45 to 960 Hz or 450 Hz to 9.6 kHz
depending on the rear p15-x10 switch. An LED indicates the selection.
5 LOW OUT control
Controls the low frequency output level in stereo and mono mode with
a range of -~ to +6 dB.
6 PHASE INVERSE switch
Reverses the polarity of the LOW or MID output of channel A and B. An
LED indicates the selection.
7 HIGH OUT control Controls the high frequency output level in stereo mode with a range of
-~ to +6 dB. In mono mode, this control is not used.
8 PHASE INVERSE switch
Reverses the polarity of the HIGH output of channel A and B. An LED
indicates the selection.
9 MONO indicator This LED indicates mono mode operation.
10 STEREO indicator This LED indicates stereo mode operation.
11 INPUT control Controls the input level of channel B in stereo mode with ±12 dB of
gain. In mono mode, this control is not used.
