Settings 1-2: fridge compartment average temperature of 8 to 11 °C,
freezer compartment average temperature <=-15 °C
Settings 3-4: fridge compartment average temperature of 5 to 9°C,
freezer compartment average temperature <=-18°C
Settings 5-7: fridge compartment average temperature <=4°C,
freezer compartment average temperature <=-20 °C
NOTE:
Turning the temperature control to the "0" position stops the cooling
cycle but does not shut off the power to the appliance.
If the unit is unplugged, loses power or turned off, wait 3 to 5 minutes
before restarting the unit. If you attempt to restart before this time delay, the
appliance will not start.
If you choose to change the thermostat setting, adjust the thermostat
control by one setting at a time. Allow several hours for the temperature to
stabilize between adjustments.
The combination of drawers, baskets and shelves that result in the
most efficient use of energy for the appliance is the default
configuration after you open the package.
FOOD CONSERVATION
Carefully wrap fresh foods to ensure that they keep their flavour, colour,
moisture and freshness. This also prevents the taste of some foods
contaminating the taste of others. Only vegetables, fruit and salad
vegetables can be stored in the vegetable compartment without being
packed. Let hot dishes and drinks cool down outside the appliance.
Remove the cardboard packs from around yoghurt pots. Check the
consume-by dates on the products you have bought.
Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator, so that it
is not in contact with and cannot drip onto other food.
