Setting up the appliance/
wall mounting
Note
► The charging station q may only be
operated free-standing if used in dry rooms.
Place the charging station q on a horizon-
tal, level and stable surface.
► In damp rooms, especially in the vicinity of
water (bath), the charging station
q must
be firmly fixed to the wall to protect it from
falling into the water.
► Before wall mounting, make sure that there
are no cables or pipes in the area where
you want to hang the charging station q.
1) Mark two drill holes on the wall 3.3cm
apart and drill the marked holes with a
5mm bit. Ensure that there is a mains pow-
er socket in the immediate vicinity.
2) Push the supplied wall plugs into the drill
holes and screw the screws into the wall
plugs. Take care that the screws still pro-
trude about 3 mm out of the holes.
3) Feed the power cable through one of the
recesses
0 on the side of the charging
station q, depending on which side the
power socket is located.
4) Push the charging station
q onto the
screws so that the screws protrude into the
hangers 8 at the back of the charging
station q. Then press the charging station q
down so that the screws slide into the rails
of the hangers 8 and the charging station
q sits firmly on the screws.
Charging the appliance
Note
► Before starting to use the appliance, check
that it is in fault-free condition. You must not
use the appliance if it has any faults.
► Charge the appliance only when there
is no water in the water tank

► In the following cases, the appliance must
be charged for about 15 hours:
– Before first use.
– If the battery has been drained during
use.
– If you have not used the appliance for
more than 3 months.
► A fully charged battery is enough for about
20 minutes of use.
1) Plug the mains plug into the mains power
socket.
2) Place the handpiece
5 on the charging
station q so that it slides onto the pin
on the charging station q.
3) Allow the handpiece
5 to charge for
around 15 hours before using it for the
first time. The charge indicator w on
the front of the handpiece 5 lights up red
during the charging process. When the bat-
tery is fully charged, the charge indicator
w lights up green.
4) Place the handpiece 5 on the charging
station q after each use so that full power
is always available.
