HOW TO USE THE GAS HEATER
IMPORTANT!
Two types of gas cartridges can be used with this heater:
• EASY CLICK cartridge - threaded Fig. B2
• Bayonet cartridge fig. B4 - only with adapter fig.
C5
• Remove the heater from the packaging.
• Ensure that the gasket is in place fig. C4 and that it is not
damaged.
• Make sure that the flame switch fig. C1 on the heater is turned -
turned as far to the left as possible, you can then proceed to
connect the gas cartridge (not supplied).
• Remove the protection from the gas cartridge in the form of a
plastic cap, then place the gas cartridge directly into the burner
socket fig. C2. (if using a threaded cartridge) and tighten
clockwise as far as it will go, but without excessive force in the
last phase.
• In the case of a bayonet cartridge, also remove the safety catch,
then place the cartridge so that the positioning guide fig. C7 fits
into the cartridge slot fig. B5 and turn the adapter clockwise as
far as it will go
• If there is a continuous "hiss" and smell of gas coming from the
gas connection after loading the gas container, stop using the
appliance.
• After installing the gas cartridge, make sure that you cannot hear
or smell gas escaping (after several seconds), the heater is
ready for operation.
ATTENTION! The above steps should be performed outdoors or
in a well-ventilated room.
• To light the flame, turn the switch Fig. C2 counterclockwise.
• Then press the piezo ignition button fig. C1 while pressing the
air damper fig. A7 (these are symmetrically located on both
sides of the burner). Use the control knob fig. C2 to set the
desired flame power.
CAUTION: Be careful with your face and hands, as there is a risk of
fire and gas burns during the initial ignition. If there is no ignition for
more than two seconds, switch the ignition back on. If ignition does
not occur after several attempts, turn off the gas supply and wait for
the accumulated gas to dissipate. Only then should you attempt to
light the heater again. There is a risk of explosion of residual gas;
do not use the burner until the smell of gas is no longer noticeable.
• When you have finished using the heater, close the flame with
the regulator Fig. C2.
• Cool the set for at least 5 minutes, then disconnect the heater
and remove the gas cartridge.
REPLACEMENT OF GAS CARTRIDGE
• When the temperature outside is low, store the gas cartridges at
room temperature. This will enable the system to be filled with
enough gas to operate the heater.
• The gas cartridge can be replaced when the appliance is not hot.
NOTE: When removing or replacing the gas cartridge, always check
that the gasket in the burner Fig. C4 is in place and in good
condition.
ATTENTION: The heater should be used on a flat, horizontal
surface to ensure the stability of the heater with the cartridge. This
is particularly important with a bayonet cartridge. It has a smaller
diameter and is higher than a threaded cartridge. In order to
increase the stability of the bayonet cartridge it is essential to use
the figure D4 stand included in the kit. The gas cartridge must be
placed in the cradle in such a way that the tabs in the cradle fig. D5
engage with the rim at the bottom of the gas cartridge fig. B7.
• Keep gas cartridges out of the reach of children, in a well-
ventilated room, away from sunlight, at a temperature below
50ºC, away from heat sources
• Keep away from all sources of ignition and open flame when
replacing the gas cartridge.
• Dispose of empty gas cartridges safely. Do not perforate or
throw into fire they may explode and cause injury.
• This type of gas cartridge is not refillable.
• Never remove the gas cartridge while the appliance is running
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
CAUTION! Before cleaning or servicing, ensure that the gas
cartridge is disconnected from the heater and that the heater
has cooled down.
CLEANING THE RADIATOR
• Never remove safety devices or important components of the gas
system yourself.
• Repairs may only be carried out by authorised service centres.
• Wipe the surface of the radiator with a clean cloth.
• The radiator cover should be cleaned with a dry cloth
STORAGE OF THE HEATER
• Remove the gas cartridge from the heater when not in use.
• Clean and dry the heater before storage
• Put the heater in its packaging and place it in a dry and shaded
place
