TRANSLATION OF THE ORIGINAL INSTRUCTIONS
Gas tourist heater
Model: 90-134
NOTE: Before using the equipment, read this manual carefully
and keep it for future reference. Persons who have not read the
instructions should not carry out installation, adjustment or
operation of the equipment.
SPECIFIC SAFETY PROVISIONS
NOTE!
Read the operating instructions carefully, follow the warnings and
safety conditions contained therein. The appliance has been
designed for safe operation. Nevertheless: installation,
maintenance and operation of the appliance can be hazardous.
Following the following procedures will reduce the risk of fire,
electric shock, injury and will reduce the installation time of the
appliance
ATTENTION: CARBON MONOXIDE
All gas appliances consume oxygen in the air and can produce
carbon monoxide, which is toxic, has no smell and can cause
death. Using a gas appliance in small and confined spaces can
be harmful. Never use this appliance in small and confined
spaces, always provide fresh air ventilation.
PREPARATION
The gas heater is designed for heating in semi-open spaces with
constant access to fresh air. The heater is small in size and weight,
making it easy to transport. Typical gas cartridges commonly
available on the market are used as power supply. The heater has
its own piezo ignition.
SAFETY RULES
This appliance may only be used with an EN417-compliant
butane/propane mixture cartridge. Attempting to fit other types
of gas containers may be dangerous.
WARNING: Before firing up the heater, it must be placed in the
correct position. The heating element cover is to face slightly
upwards main drawing and the heater itself is to stand on the legs
provided for this purpose fig. A10. Otherwise flooding of the gas
cartridge will not be possible. Attempting to light the heater with
the grate upside down will cause a fire and risk of explosion.
NOTE: Use outdoors only, keep young children away from the
unit.
FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY. DO NOT use the heater in an
enclosed space.
ATTENTION! The heater is not intended for commercial use
• NEVER expose the heater to flammable vapours or liquids
during operation. This could cause an explosion or fire.
• NEVER leave the heater unattended during operation.
• DO NOT move an operating or hot heater. Cool it for at least 5
minutes after operation and then disconnect it from the gas
cartridge.
• The heater should be used on a flat, horizontal surface. In the
case of a bayonet cartridge, use the stand provided to increase
stability.
• Never use the heater in windy weather
• Do not position the heater near an open window during operation
• NEVER attempt to light a flame when the heating element is
covered. Gas build-up may occur, resulting in increased flame
eruption.
• DO NOT move, lift or tilt the heater with the burner lit. This may
cause damage to the product or injury to the user from the flame.
• Always check that the burner is extinguished before
disconnecting the gas cartridge.
• DO NOT repair or modify the heater yourself.
• Check the heater carefully before connecting the gas cartridge
to it. Make sure the flame switch is closed in the OFF position.
DO NOT use the heater if the seal between the heater and the
gas cartridge is damaged.
• When the heater is connected to the gas cartridge, it is normal
for some gas to leak out before the gas cartridge is blocked.
Continue fitting the gas cartridge until it is tight and then the gas
leak will stop. If you hear or smell a gas leak after connecting
while the flame control knob is closed, DO NOT approach with
an open flame or light the heater. Immediately disconnect the
heater from the gas cartridge. Do not use the heater until it has
been checked and repaired by a qualified service technician.
• Keep body parts away from the top of the burning radiator
burner. Keep any combustible materials at least 0.5 metres away
from the sides of the burning heater.
• Allow the radiator and all parts to cool down before cleaning.
Avoid cleaning the radiator or any of its parts with steel wool.
• Do not let children get close to a burning heater. Minors use
the heater only under adult supervision.
• Use a wind shield when using the heater in a windy environment
to avoid an accident.
• The radiator is manufactured in accordance with EN 417
