04. PRECAUTIONS

1. Always read the instrucons in this manual carefully before using the device.

2. Adult assembly is required. Keep small parts away from children during assembly.

3. The baby monitor is not a substute for responsible adult supervision.

4. Do not allow children to play with the camera or accessories. Do not allow a child to put kit parts

in the mouth.

5. Do not place the monitoring unit or cables in the baby’s cot or within reach of the infant (at least

1 metre away).

6. If you are mounng on a cot, keep an adequate distance from the child’s reach.

7. Keep cables out of the reach of children.

8. Do not use the unit near water or a heat source.

9. Use only the power supply supplied with the device.

10. Do not touch the contacts of the power socket with sharp or metallic objects.

05. GETTING STARTED

1. Download the applicaon

Android/iOS: download the ‘TuyaSmart’ app in the Google Play/App Store.

2. Registraon and login

Launch the app on your smartphone. Register and then log in.

3. Add device

• Connect the camera and wait, you will hear the message “system startup”. The camera will set

itself up by showing the reset buon (Fig.A- 5).

• Hold the RESET buon for 3 to 6 seconds unl you hear the message “reset the camera suc-

cessful”.

• The camera is now ready to be congured and will issue the message ‘please congure the

Wi-Fi i’ unl the device is connected to the Wi-Fi.

• Make sure your phone is connected to the 2.4 Ghz Wi-Fi network to which you want to connect

the camera.

• Press the (+) symbol in the top right corner of the app and then “Add device”.

• From the product categories, select “Camera and lock” and then “Wireless camera (Wi-Fi)” to

add a network. (The app may nd a device nearby automacally).

• Make sure the phone is connected to the Wi-Fi network to which the device will be connected.

• Follow the instrucons in the applicaon, aer successful scanning of the QR code the device

will issue the message: “successful in scanning QR code”

• Connecng begins. Do not switch o the Wi-Fi camera or phone while connecng.

• Wait unl the device is connected.

• The camera is ready for use.

4. Deleon of the device

On the home screen, hold down the name of any of the devices you have added. Then select one or

more devices you want to delete and click the recycle bin icon.

06. FUNCTIONS OF THE APPLICATION

1. Full screen mode (Fig.B- 1)

When this opon is selected, the applicaon will switch to full-screen mode (Fig.C):

• A1 - camera movement control panel

• A2 - temperature indicaon
