ANTENNA MOUNTING
One of the questions we typically get is, “What’s the best way to mount the antenna
for the TD200?” The answer is “It’s important to mount the antenna at a high point.”
Whichever length of Coaxial Cable you choose, it is imperative that you handle
it correctly. Because the cable consists of a small conducting wire, it really is no
stronger than that tiny wire. It’s very easy to get a kink in a cable when you’re pulling
it through a hole, for instance, and that could break the small antenna wire. When that
happens, the cable is useless.
