CAUTION
For optimal lithium battery performance, note the following:
Do not charge the battery where the ambient temperature is high (such as under direct
sunlight).
The device can be charged while recording. However, avoid charging under wet
conditions as the charging port is not water resistant.
Failure to follow battery usage instructions could damage your device or battery, cause
bodily injury or property damage, and void the warranty.
The recorder may not be compatible with some portable chargers. If you must use a
portable charger, make sure the output is rated at + 5V dc / 2A.
Mounting the motorcycle helmet cam
Note:
Installation illustrations are for reference only. If you encounter problems during installation, it is
recommended that you contact a service personnel or authorised auto technician for assistance.
Mounting the device on a full-face or open-face motorcycle helmet is recommended as most half
helmets do not provide enough surface area on the sides.
Ensure your helmet complies to AS/NZS 1698:2006 or ECE 22.06 standards and is free from any
defects, cracks, delamination or damage and has no penetration to the layers.
The device is designed to be mounted on the right-hand side of the helmet. If installed on the left,
camera lens positions become reversed.
Cleaning the motorcycle helmet with an alcohol wipe prior to installing the helmet mount is
recommended.
When adjusting the viewing angle, make sure that the camera’s view is parallel with level ground and
the ground to sky ratio is close to a 50/50 split.
