1. Before attaching the device mount to the windscreen, it is
recommended to clean the windscreen with rubbing alcohol
and make sure that the installation area is free of dust, oil and
grease.
2. If installing the device using an electrostatic sticker (optional),
attach the electrostatic sticker to the windscreen (make sure
there are no air bubbles trapped underneath), then detach the device mount from the
dash cam, remove the liner, and press rmly to install it over the electrostatic sticker.
To install without the electrostatic sticker, detach the device mount from the dash cam,
remove the liner, then press rmly to install the mount on the windscreen directly.
Note:
If your vehicle’s windscreen has a third visor frit (a patch of black dots
around the rear view mirror), please do not attempt to ax the electrostatic
lm/dash cam in this area as it is likely to fall o.
Attaching the device to an electrostatic sticker allows for the easy removal of
the device mount from the windscreen.
3. When adjusting the viewing angle, make sure that the camera’s view is parallel with level
ground and the ground to sky ratio is close to a 50/50 split.
4. Connect the vehicle power adapter to the cigarette lighter. Route the cables through the
top ceiling and the A-pillar so that it does not interfere with driving. Make sure that the
cable installation does not interfere with the vehicles airbags or other safety features.
