2. Powering off- press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds to
turn off the device.
Performing a Measurement with the Navitel ALC 02 Breathalyzer:
1. Press and hold the ON/OFF button for 2 seconds to turn on the device.
2. The unit of measurement ‰ (promiles) will be displayed on the screen.
3. Press the ON/OFF button; the word "BLO" will appear.
4. Insert the mouthpiece, take a deep breath, and exhale. You will hear a
sound signal, and "0" will flash on the display. The test result will be
displayed after the clicking sound.
5. Press the ON/OFF button once to perform another test.
NOTE: To perform a test immediately after a POSITIVE test, ensure that no alcohol
residue remains in the breathalyzer from the previous measurement. Replace the
mouthpiece with a new one and conduct a passive test (press the ON/OFF button
when the display shows "BLO"). If the result is 0.00, proceed with another test.
6. To turn off the breathalyzer, hold down the ON/OFF button for 5
seconds.
The breathalyzer has an automatic shutdown function after 1 minute of
inactivity.
NOTE: Using the same mouthpiece repeatedly (in short intervals) may result in
flooding or damage to the sensor. After each measurement, we recommend
replacing the mouthpiece with a new one. Residual alcohol vapors or drops may
cause inflated measurements.
