General Operating Instructions
1. Slide the pipe through the Pipe Bender, positioning it between the Die and the Rollers.
It is recommended to practice bending on scrap material before working on actual pipes.
2. Using the slotted end of the Handle, tighten the Release Valve on the Bottle Jack by turning it
clockwise.
3. Insert the Handle into the Pump Sleeve and pump it up and down to raise the Bottle Jack and
bend the pipe.
4. Once the pipe has been bent to the desired angle, remove the Handle from the Bottle Jack.
Use it to loosen the Valve Release Screw by turning it counterclockwise up to one full turn.
This will release the pipe from the Pipe Bender, allowing for safe and careful removal.
3.4. Cleaning and maintenance
1. Before each use, inspect the general condition of the Pipe Bender. Check for broken, cracked, or bent
parts, loose or missing components, and any condition that may affect proper operation. If an issue is
found, correct it before further use. Do not use damaged equipment.
2. Before
each use, thoroughly test the Bottle Jack to ensure it operates correctly. If the Bottle Jack does
not function properly, follow the Bleeding Instructions to remove excess air.
3. Change the hydraulic oil at least once every three years.
To change the hydraulic oil:
a. Lower the Jack completely and remove the Oil Filler Plug.
b. Tilt the Pipe Bender to allow the old hydraulic oil to drain out completely, then dispose of the
oil according to local regulations.
c. Refill the Housing with high-quality hydraulic jack oil (not included) until the oil just starts to
overflow from the Oil Fill Hole.
d. Reinstall the Oil Filler Plug.
4. Cleaning & Storage:
• Wipe the unit clean with a cloth and a mild detergent or solvent, then dry it thoroughly.
• Keep the levers and adjustment elements clean, free of remainders of lubricants.
• Rotary elements and/or contact surfaces shall be kept clean, free of rust traces, and periodically
protected with thin films of specialistic oil.
• Use cleaners without corrosive substances to clean each surface.
• After cleaning the device, all parts should be dried before reusing it.
• Store the Pipe Bender in a safe, dry location, in an upright position, out of reach of children and
unauthorized users.
• In case of longer device disuse, protect it with grease for the storage period. To ensure safe use,
remove the grease excess before reuse.
