4. Pressing the “OFF” button (11a) on the control panel or on the remote control (17a) turns off
the fan.
CAUTION! The “TIMER” and “MODE” functions are only available on the remote control (17).
5. On the remote control, use the “TIMER” button (17c) to set the time after which the fan will
automatically turn off. Selection of the appropriate time is signalled by the indicator lights
(11e). Time available from 0.5 hour to 7.5 hours in 0.5 hour steps. The time signalled by the
individual lights is added together.
6. On the remote control, use the “MODE” button (17d) to set the appropriate air flow mode. The
selection of the appropriate mode is signalled by the indicator lamp (11c). There are three
blowing modes available:
- normal mode – the indicator light is displayed in green on the control panel;
- natural mode – the indicator light is not displayed on the
control panel; silent mode – the indicator light is red on the
control panel.
7. To activate fan rotation, press the rotation button (8). The func-
tion is turned off by pressing the button (8) again.
8. To change the angle of the propeller and thus the angle of the
air stream, simply tilt the fan head while holding the fan base
with the other hand to prevent the fan from tipping over.
9. You can adjust the height of the fan head by loosening the head
height adjustment nut (13), setting the head height appropri-
ately and tightening the nut.
10. Once the operating time of the fan is over, use the (11a) to shut it
down and disconnect it from the mains.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
WARNING! Do not immerse the appliance, its cord and plug in water or any other liquids
1. Before cleaning the appliance, unplug it from the power outlet.
2. The motor cover, controls cover, stand and cross of the fan, may be cleaned with a damp cloth
and a mild detergent, then wipe dry.
3. The mesh guards may be occasionally wiped with a brush to remove dust
from the holes. After the propeller is unmounted, wipe it with a damp cloth
with a detergent.
4. The remote control requires two 1.5 V AAA batteries to work. Access the
batteries by opening the battery compartment on the bottom side of the
remote control (Fig. 2). Mind the correct polarity and fit when changing
the batteries. Do not mix different types of batteries and/or spent batteries
with new batteries.
CAUTION! Do not dispose of spent batteries with household waste. Dispose of spent bat-
teries at designated battery collection points or return them to the seller. Never throw
batteries into fire.
