CAUTION! The remote control is powered by two 1.5V AAA batteries. Batteries are not included with the MWP-
25/C fan.
PREPARING THE DEVICE FOR OPERATION
CAUTION! The fan must be placed on a stable, dry and flat surface!
1. Remove all protective films from the fan components.
2. Insert the base arms (16) into the base (15).
3. Screw the fan post (13) into the base (15) clockwise.
4. Unscrew the fan height adjustment nut (14) and slide the inner seatpost element (13) as far as
possible. Tighten the height adjustment nut (14) securely.
5. Unscrew the protective nut of the rear propeller mesh housing (5), located on the motor
shaft.
6. Place the rear propeller mesh cover (5) with the handle facing upwards onto the motor pin
and tighten the protective nut (4), making sure that these elements are installed securely.
7. Install the propeller (3) securely onto the motor pin and tighten the propeller protection nut
(2) counterclockwise.
8. Fit the front propeller mesh housing (1) by attaching a keyed hook to the rear propeller mesh
housing (5). Make sure that the mounting screw holes in the front and rear propeller mesh
housings are aligned opposite each other.
9. Screw the propeller mesh housings together using the mounting screw and nut (6). Close the
retaining hooks (7).
10. Place the fan on the inner seatpost member (13). Tighten the locking knob (12) located on the
rear cover of the control panel (10) securely.
11. Install the batteries in the remote control (see section: CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
CAUTION! Batteries are not included with the MWP-25/C product.
USE OF A FAN
CAUTION! Before switching on, make sure that the fan is standing on a flat, stable and dry surface!
1. Connect the device to a power source. The connection will be signalled by an audible signal
and the indicator lamp (11f) will light up.
2. Start the fan using the “ON/SPEED” button on the control panel (11b) or on the remote con-
trol (17b).
3. Pressing the “ON/SPEED” button (11b) on the control panel or on the remote control (17b)
again changes the rotation speed, which is signalled by the appropriate indicator lamp (11d).
There are three speed levels available:
- low speed
- medium speed
