Conguring the recorder

Date & time settings

The date and time settings must be correct in order for the recorded videos to

display accurate timestamps. Date and time are synced automatically once your

device is connected to a smartphone via WIFI.

It is also possible to set the date and time manually by editing the “setting.txt” le

located at the root directory of the memory card. This is a system le generated

automatically whenever a new memory card is inserted into the recorder.

To edit the le, remove the memory card from the recorder (turn the recorder o󰀨

before removing the card) then use a card reader to access its contents on a PC.

Open “setting.txt” with a text editor such as Notepad and modify the “Year”, “Month”,

“Day”, “Hour”, “Minute”, or “Second” eld as necessary.

The value of the “UPDATE” eld must be set to “Y” for the new settings to take

e󰀨ect. Save and close the “setting.txt” le, insert the memory card into the recorder

then turn the power on. The recorder will update its settings automatically during

startup.
