ILLUMINATED RETICLE AND BATTERY CHANGE

Your MINOX riflescope is equipped with an illuminated reticle

and is powered by a CR 2032 battery (8). The device is supplied

with the batteries installed. Looking towards the front of the

riflescope, the illumination unit can be found on the left of the

main tube.

Proceed as follows to change the battery:

1. Turn the battery cover (9) counterclockwise until it is

released.

2. Remove the old battery. Now insert the new battery, so

thatthe minus pole is pointing towards the receiver.

3. Screw the battery cover (9) clockwise to close again.

The adjustment wheel (10) is used to switch the illuminated

reticle on and o. The illuminated reticle is switched o at level

0, in relation to the reference mark on the telescope body. Turn

the adjustment wheel to level 1 to switch on the illuminated

reticle of your scope. The brightness of the illuminated reticle

can be adjusted in 10 click levels using the adjustment wheel.

There is an “O” setting with click levels between the brightness

levels. Once you have selected the suitable brightness setting,

you can switch the illuminated reticle o and back on again

with only one click without having to search for the suitable

brightness again.

To increase battery life, the illuminated reticle switches

o automatically after 10 minutes without operating the

brightness setting. If the brightness setting is changed, the

reticle lighting switches back on again. The automatic shut-

down also occurs at an inclination angle >80° up/down, as well

as at an inclination angle >60° to the side.

RETICLE

In the RS-6 scopes, the reticle is in the second focus plane.

The reticle is not magnified when changing magnification, but

always remains the same, so the reticle subtension of these

riflescopes depends on the magnification.
