5.1.2. CAMERA ORIENTATION
The base of the 2.4" baby monitor camera is designed to sit comfortably on flat surfaces
and can be manually adjusted. Rotate the camera right, left, up, down, or laterally to
achieve the desired position. It is important not to force the camera's movements once
it has reached the maximum rotation limits. Additionally, the camera's base is equipped
with a wall-mount suspension system that allows you to attach it to the wall using the
provided screws.
Note: For better visibility, clean the camera lens with a slightly damp cloth
periodically.
5.2. OPERATION
5.2.1. TURNING THE CAMERA ON/OFF
To turn the camera on or off, connect the adapter cable to the DC jack of the camera (VI)
and to the electrical outlet. The Power LED (VII) will go on and off depending on whether
you turn the unit on or off.
When you have installed the camera and turned it on, you can see the images and listen to
the sounds captured in your baby’s room via the monitor.
5.2.2. INFRARED NIGHT VISION (AUTOMATIC)
The infrared night vision function allows the camera to transmit images in dark or low-
light conditions.
In this mode, only black and white images will be displayed on the monitor and only
objects located less than 2 meters away can be seen.
The camera automatically changes to infrared mode when there is insufficient light
for normal vision. When the camera is in this mode, the night vision icon (C) will be
displayed on screen.
Note: The light sensor (I) is located at the top of the camera. Take care not to cover
the sensor with any object to prevent the camera from entering night mode when
there is light in the room.
5.2.3. ADD CAMERA AND PAIRING
The pairing between the monitor and the camera will be done under two circumstances:
- If you want to add an additional camera.
- If the monitor and the camera are not paired.
The monitor and the original camera leave the factory with channel 1 programmed,
nonetheless, if for some reason, they are not, you can link them manually following the
steps indicated below.
To pair the camera and the monitor follow the next steps:
1. Press the Menu/Back/Power button (5) to display the menu icon.
2. Press the RIGHT Nav button (10) or LEFT Nav button (8) until the camera icon is
highlighted, then press the UP Nav button (7) or DOWN Nav button (11) until the "add"
sub-menu is selected. Enter this option by pressing the confirmation button (9).
3. Press the UP Nav button (7) or DOWN Nav button (11) to select the camera you want
to add (camera 1, camera 2, camera 3, camera 4).
4. Press the confirmation button (9) to search for a camera unit. The LED indicator (1)
will start flashing in blue, and the message "wait" will appear on your monitor.
5. While the LED indicator is flashing, press the pairing button on the camera (VIII).
6. Once paired, the LED indicator will stop flashing, and the camera images will be
immediately displayed on the monitor unit's screen. The connection between the monitor
and a previously connected camera may be lost for various reasons. If this happens, repeat
the above process to reconnect the camera to the monitor.
Note 1: Before starting the pairing process, make sure that the camera and the
monitor are close to each other.
