from the users face and tap-
ping dust box into a trash
can, pail, or other reasonable
container.
5. If necessary, pull the HEPA
lter away from the dust box
and tap clean. Do not clean
with water or compressed
air. After about 1500 holes or
loss of suction, discard and
replace HEPA lter (Cat. No.
49-90-0910).
To install the dust box:
1. Slide the dust box into the body of the
HAMMERVAC™.
2. The dust box latches should snap into place.
NOTE: Do not operate the HAMMERVAC™ without
the dust box and HEPA lter in place. Dust box cannot
be installed without HEPA lter.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of
injury, when working
in dusty situations, wear appropriate respiratory
protection or use an OSHA compliant dust extrac-
tion solution.
Keep lter clean. E󰀩ciency of the HAMMERVAC™
is largely dependent on the lter. A dirty lter will
reduce the air ow and overall e󰀩ciency of the
system. Do not clean with water or compressed
air. Remove from dust box and tap clean.
Installing/Removing Nozzle
Replace the nozzle:
Nozzle
adjustment
lever
After drilling about 1500
holes,
When the nozzle bit brush
shows signs of wear,
When suction is reduced,
When dust escapes through
the nozzle bit brush during
use
To replace the Standard (Cat.
No. 14-52-0105 and Large
Cat. No. 14-52-0110) nozzles,
pull the nozzle adjustment lever up to the open
position and pull out nozzle from the lower nozzle
assembly. Slide the new nozzle into the lower nozzle
assembly and push the nozzle adjustment lever down
to the closed position.
