8. Ensure the bolt extends no more than

not properly seated in the blade bolt

9. Insert the upper blade onto the keyed
spindle.
10. Insert the upper blade bolt and tighten
securely with the wrench provided.
OPERATION
WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury, always
wear proper eye protection marked
to comply with ANSI Z87.1.
Fuel Gauge
To determine the amount of charge left in the battery,
turn the tool on. The fuel gauge will light up for 2-3
seconds. When less than 10% of charge is left, 1
light on the fuel gauge will ash 4 times.
To signal the end of charge, 1 light on the fuel gauge
will ash 8 times and the tool will not run. Charge
the battery pack.
If the battery becomes too hot, the fuel gauge lights
will ash and the tool will not run. Allow the battery
to cool down.
Selecting Speed
Select low speed (1) for harder
materials. Select high speed (2)
for softer materials.
Cutting
WARNING
To reduce the risk of injury:
Do not cut short pieces of material that put
ngers near blades. Blade is sharp.
Wear safety goggles or glasses with side
shields. Material may crack or shatter.
• Blade is sharp. Keep hands away from
cutting edges and moving parts. Lac-
eration and amputation can occur.
Before cutting, ensure upper blade bolt and blade
release bolt are securely tightened.
1. Pull the blade release lever to open the jaws.
2. Insert the workpiece squarely between the lower
blade and the upper blade. Do not attempt to
make angled cuts as it will damage the workpiece
and blade.
3. Hold the tool rmly and support the workpiece.
Ensure the workpiece is straight and centered in
the jaws. Keep hands away from blades.
4. Press down on the trigger unlock button and pull
the trigger. Workpiece may move slightly during
the cut.
5. When the cut is complete, release the trigger.

ASSEMBLY
WARNING
Recharge only with the charger
specied for the battery. For spe-
cic charging instructions, read the operator's
manual supplied with the charger and battery.
Removing/Inserting the Battery
To remove the battery, push in the release buttons
and pull the battery pack away from the tool.
WARNING
Always lock the trigger or remove
the battery pack any time the tool
is not in use.
To insert the battery, slide the pack into the body
of the tool. Make sure it latches securely into place.
WARNING
Only use accessories specically
recommended for this tool. Others
may be hazardous.
Blade is sharp. Keep hands away from cutting
edge. Laceration can occur.
Changing the Blades
Replace the blades when they becomes dull or
chipped. A blade is dull when blade edge appears
dull, rounded, or damaged. Always replace blades
as a set.
Use only MILWAUKEE blade Cat. No. 48-44-0410.
1. WARNING! Remove battery to avoid starting the tool.
2. Remove the upper blade bolt with the wrench
provided.
3. Pull o󰀨 the upper blade, keeping hands away from
the cutting edge.
4. Remove the blade release bolt.
5. Pull o󰀨 the lower blade, keeping hands away from
the cutting edge.
6. Insert the new lower blade, keeping hands away
from the cutting edge.
7. Insert the blade release bolt and tighten securely
with the wrench provided.
