The Gourmet Box is suitable for storing
and freezing food in the refrigerator or
freezer. The Gourmet Box can also be
used to cook food in an oven, combina-
tion steam oven, steam oven, micro-
wave or in a Gourmet drawer.
Symbols on the Gourmet Box
The usage symbols on the lid and glass
container have the following meanings:
Dishwasher-safe
Suitable for use in ovens up to
260°C
Not suitable for use in ovens (lid)
Suitable for microwave use
Not suitable for microwave use (lid)
Freezer-safe to -30°C
QR codes with link to the Miele
app*
The Miele app helps you to perfectly
store and process your food. Using the
QR codes on the lid, you can easily con-
nect your supplies to the Miele app and
organise them digitally.

or from the Google Play Store™.
Tips for use
Food can expand during freezing. We
therefore recommend filling the Gour-
met Box only 1–2cm below the rim.
Make sure that the silicone seal remains
dry and free of grease so that the lid can
be closed in an airtight manner.
Cleaning and care
Allow the glass container to cool
down before cleaning.
Cleaning the Gourmet Box
The Gourmet Box can be cleaned in
the dishwasher or by hand with a
solution of warm water and a little
washing-up liquid applied with a clean
sponge cloth.
Dry all surfaces with a clean cloth.
Tip: If necessary, you can remove the
silicone seal and clean it separately in
the dishwasher or by hand.
Optional accessories
The Gourmet Box is available in 3 differ-
ent sizes, separately or together in a set
(GaLa-S, GaLa-M, GaLa-L, GaLa-Set).
You can purchase the silicone seal sep-
arately to match your Gourmet Box
(GaLa-DR-S, GaLa-DR-M/L).
These products can be ordered via the
Miele online shop, from the Miele Cus-
tomer Service Department or from your
Miele dealer.
