Motion Detector/Automatic Switch 55/63 [SCN-BWM55/63(T)(06).x2]
State 07/2025 - Version 1.4
4.7 Temperature
Using the internal temperature sensor, the current temperature of the room can be recorded and output to
the bus.
The following table shows the available settings:

active
Activation of the temperature
measurement.
Send measured value

not active, 0,1 K – 1 K
[0,2 K]
Setting at which change the measured
value is to be sent.
Send measured value
cyclically
not active
1 min – 120 min
Setting whether and at what interval the
measured value is to be sent cyclically.
Correction value for
sensor
-80 ... 50 x 0,1 K
[0 K]
Setting of the value by which the
temperature is corrected.

Sending functions
The “Send measured value on change of”parameterspecieswhetherand,onwhatchange,thecurrent
measured value is sent. If the setting is “not active”, the sensor will not send a value, regardless of the
change.
The “Send measured value cyclically parameter can be used to specify whether and at what interval the
current measured value is sent cyclically.
Note: The sending functions can be activated or deactivated independently of each other. If both
parameters are deactivated, no value will be sent.
Correction value for sensor
Here a offset value can be entered. This is used to increase/decrease the actual measured value. The
temperature sensor sends the corrected temperature value when this function is activated.
Note: The offset value is entered with the factor “x 0.1 K”. A setting of 25 will raise the temperature value
sent by +2.5 °C.
The following table shows the associated communication objects:
No. Name/Object function Length Usage
130 Temperature – Send measured value 2 Byte Sends the current temperature value.
