4.3.2.3 Basic function: Dimming
Single-button function
The dimming function can be used to control Dimming Actuators.
Functional principle:
Three communication objects appear for this function: one for the function of a short keypress, the
“Dimming On/Off” switch object, and the other for the function of a long keypress, the “Dimming relative”
dimming object.
If the dimming function is used, this is start-stop dimming. This means that as soon as the dimming
function is activated, the button sends a “brighter” or “darker” command up until the button is released.
After releasing the button, a “stop” telegram is sent, which ends the dimming process. The dimming
direction (brighter / darker) is reversed depending on the “Status for toggle” communication object.
