Comment
Light channels influence
the brightness
measurement
yes (several lights in the room)
no (separate functions)
Setting whether the brightness
measurement is influenced by several
light sources in the room or not.
Correction value -50 % – 70 %
[0 %]
Increase/decrease the value to correct
the measured brightness.
Send brightness on change
of
not active, 5 % – 50%
[10 %]
Setting if the measured value is sent
when there is a percentage change.
Send measured value
cyclically
not active
5 s – 30 min
Setting for whether and at what interval
the measured value is sent cyclically.
Table 70: Settings – Brightness
Important: If the white LED is active, the brightness value is not evaluated.
Light channels influence the brightness measurement
Example for “yes” setting: Light channels 1 and 2 respond to the basic setting for brightness (General
settings) and switch on two independent light sources in the room. If, for example, light channel 1 is
switched on via an external button and the brightness value of the switch-on level is exceeded, the
other channel will automatically be “independent of brightness” and can thus also switch on their
lamps via motion.
Example for “no” setting: If several light sources are switched in a stairwell with a detector, but these
have no influence on each other due to their positions (e.g. indirect LED lighting), both light groups can
be set to the “basic setting” of the switch-on threshold. If it is now bright due to daylight and the
switch-on level is exceeded, then every indirect LED light should no longer switch on.
Correction value
This offset value is used to raise or lower the actual measured value. The “Brightness – Send measured
value” object sends the corrected brightness value.
Note: The correction value is entered as a percentage. A setting of -10% will lower the value to be sent by
40 lux if the measured value is 400 lux.
