2.5 Commissioning
After wiring, the allocation of the physical address and the parameterization of every channel follow:
(1) Connect the interface with the bus, e.g. MDT USB interface.
(2) Switch on the bus voltage.
(3) Press the programming button at the device (Indication in the display flashes red alternately).
(4) Loading the physical address from the ETS software via the interface (red flashing goes out as
soon as this has been successfully completed).
(5) Loading of the application, with requested configuration.
(6) If the device is enabled you can test the requested functions (also possible by using the ETS-
Software).
