Updating inputs
The input menu allows you to choose:
▪ GAIN – see Input gain, polarity and muting (page 18)
▪ RECL – see Recall preset (page 18)
▪ STOR – see Store preset (page 19)
▪ IN Input – see Routing (page 19)
▪ IN Style – see Routing style (page 19)
▪ TYPE – see Input and fallover type (page 20)
▪ TRIM – see Trim digital input gain (page 21)
▪ Latency – see Drive module latency (page 21)
▪ FIR – see FIR high shelf EQ (page 22)

Selecting the input channel
Press INPUT to select the input menu. The letter at top
left shows the channel that you're editing and this could
be any of the input channels: A, B, C or D. For example:
1. Press
INPUT several times until channel D appears
top left.
2. Press UTILITY to exit the menu.
3. Press INPUT and you go back to channel D.
If you use INPUT to scroll through the channels, the first
channel is always A:
1. Press INPUT several times until channel D appears
top left.
2. Press INPUT rather than UTILITY to exit the menu.
3. Press
INPUT and you go back to channel A.
Note that when you select an input menu item and
change to another channel, you remain on the same
menu item. For example:
1. Press INPUT so that channel A appears top left.
2. Press the down arrow button ▼ until RECL appears top
left (normally one press).
3. Press INPUT. You are now on menu item RECL for
channel B.
4. Press
INPUT three times to exit the menu.
5. Press INPUT again and you go back to channel A and
menu item RECL.
Input gain, polarity and muting
Use the input GAIN menu item to update the input
channel gain, polarity and muting.
To update gain, polarity and muting
1. PressINPUT to select the channel. For details, see
Selecting the input channel (page 18).
2. GAIN should appear top left. If not, press the down
arrow button ▼ several times until it does.
3. Rotate ADJUST (the right-hand dial) to choose the
gain (–40 to 20dB in 0.2 increments).
4. Rotate
SELECT (the left-hand dial) to choose Pol for
polarity and rotate ADJUST (the right-hand dial) to
choose Norm to use normal polarity or Rev to use
reverse polarity.
5. Rotate SELECT (the left-hand dial) to choose Mute
and rotate ADJUST (the right-hand dial) to select
Norm to unmute or Mute to mute this input channel.
6. Press
UTILITY to exit the menu or pressINPUT several
times to step through the channels.
Recall preset
Use the input RECL menu item to recall input presets. The
factory-installed presets have a square next to the preset
number. You can also create your own input presets using
Store preset (page 19) and these presets won't have a
square next to them.
Note that the amplifier also has
output
presets (page 24).
To recall a preset
1. PressINPUT to select the channel. For details, see
Selecting the input channel (page 18).
2. Press the down arrow button
▼ several times until
RECL appears top left (usually one press).
