Canada
D&M
Holdings Inc. (hereinafter "Marantz") warrants
to
the original purchaser
only that this Marantz
product
(the "Product") will be free from defects
in
materials and workmanship for a limited period
of
five
(5)
years (
·warranty
Term") from the date
of
original retail purchase from a Marantz Authorized
Dealer. The original retail purchaser may hereinafter be referred to as
"Purchaser"
or
"you."
Except as specified below, this limited warranty covers parts and
labor to correct defects
in
materials and workmanship during the
Warranty Term. The following are not covered by the warranty:
1.
Damage, deterioration, malfunction
or
failure
to meet performance specifications resulting from:
a)
Accident, acts
of
nature, misuse, abuse,
neglect or unauthorized
product
modification.
b)
Improper installation, removal or maintenance,
or
failure
to
follow
instructions
supplied
with
the
Product.
c)
Repair or attempted repair by anyone
not
authorized by Marantz
to
repair the Product.
d)
Any shipment
of
the Product (claims must be
presented
to
the carrier).
e)
Any cause other than a
product
defect.
2.
Cleaning, initial set-up, or charges incurred for installation,
removal
or
reinstallation
of
the Product.
3.
Any
product
on which the serial number has been defaced,
modified or removed.
4.
Accessories, including
but
not
limited to, batteries, cables,
mounting hardware and brackets, cleaning accessories, antenna
and detachable power cords.
5.
Warranty
is
void if purchase was made from anyone other than
an
authorized Marantz dealer.

get
service:
1.
If
your
unit
needs service,
contact
Marantz
customer
service by calling
1-800-654-6633
or
by visiting support.Marantz.com. Our
representatives
will advise you with
the
name and location
of
one
or
more
authorized
Marantz
repair
facilities
from
which
service
can
be
obtained.
2.
Whenever warranty service is required, you
must
present
the
original
dated
sales
receipt
or
other
proof
of
purchase. Once
the
product
is
validated as "in warranty"
by
our
representatives, you are
then
eligible
to
receive a shipping label
and/or
a box with packaging
if
needed
to
send
the
product
to
one
of
our
authorized service facilities.
Products should be shipped
in
the original shipping container
or
its equivalent.
If it
is
determined that the Product is defective
in
materials
or
workmanship
during the Warranty period, Marantz will.
at
its option, repair
or
replace the
Product at no additional charge.
All
replaced parts and Products become the
property
of
Marantz. Products that have been repaired under this warranty will
be returned
to
you, within a reasonable time, freight prepaid.
This warranty does
not
include service or parts
to
repair damage caused by
accident. misuse, negligence, inadequate packing or shipping procedures,
commercial use, voltage inputs
in
excess
of
the rated maximum
of
the unit.
cosmetic appearance
of
cabinetry
not
directly attributable
to
defect
in
materials or workmanship,
or
service, repair, or modification
of
the Product
which has
not
been authorized or approved by Marantz. This warranty shall
terminate if the Serial number on the Product has been removed, tampered
with or defaced. This warranty
is
in
lieu
of
all
other expressed Warranties. If this
Product
is
defective
in
materials or workmanship as warranted above, your
sole remedy shall be repair
or
replacement as provided above.
TO
THE
MAXIMUM
EXTENT
ALLOWED
BY
LAW,
ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT
NOT LIMITED
TO
EXPRESS
WARRANTY,
IMPLIED
WARRANTY,
WARRANTY
OF
MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS
FOR
PARTICULAR
PURPOSE,
AND WARRANTY
OF
NON-INFRINGEMENT
OF
INTELLECTUAL
PROPERTY
ARE
EXPRESSLY
EXCLUDED
TO
THE
MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED
BY
LAW, AND MARANTZ
NEITHER
ASSUMES
NOR
AUTHORIZES
ANY
PERSON
OR
ENTITY
TO ASSUME
FOR
IT
ANY
DUTY,
OBLIGATION
OR
LIABILITY
IN
CONNECTION
WITH
ITS
PRODUCTS. MARANTZ
HEREBY
DISCLAIMS AND
HAS
ABSOLUTELY
NO
LIABILITY
FOR
ANY
AND ALL ACTS
OF
THIRD
PARTIES.
THE
MAXIMUM
RECOVERY
UNDER
ANY
CLAIM AGAINST MARANTZ,
WHETHER
BASED
ON
CONTRACT,
TORT,
OR
ANY
OTHER
THEORY,
SHALL
BE
STRICTLY LIMITED
TO
THE
PURCHASE
PRICE
OF
THE
PRODUCT. MARANTZ SHALL NOT
BE
RESPONSIBLE
FOR
ANY
DAMAGES WHATSOEVER. INCLUDING
BUT
NOT
LIMITED
TO,
ANY
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, INCIDENTAL DAMAGES,
SPECIAL, DAMAGES
FOR
INCONVENIENCE,
THE
LOSS
OF
TIME
OR
USE,
LOSS
OF
EARNINGS,
COMMERCIAL LOSS, LOSS
OF
ECONOMIC
OPPORTUNITY,
OR
THE
LIKE,
EVEN
IF
MARANTZ
HAS
BEEN
ADVISED
OF
THE
POSSIBILITY
OF
SUCH
DAMAGES. Some states or provinces do
not
allow the
exclusion or limitation
of
consequential damages, so the above limitation and
exclusion may
not
apply
to
you.
All
implied warranties on this Product are
limited
to
the duration
of
this Limited Warranty. Some states
or
provinces
do
not
allow limitations on how long
an
implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitations may
not
apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights,
and you also may have other rights which vary from state
to
state or province
to
province. Marantz has no liability for the acts
of
third parties. For
U.S.
warranty claims, the Purchaser agrees and consents that
all
disputes shall be
resolved
in
accordance with California laws
in
Orange County, California.
Marantz reserves the right
to
modify this warranty statement
at
any time.
This Warranty applies only to Products purchased
in
the United States
of
America and Canada, except Quebec. Residents of Quebec are governed
by that province's consumer protection legislation.
