• Observe the polarity (+/-) when inserting
batteries.
• Change all batteries at the same time and
dispose of the old batteries properly.
• Warning! Batteries may not be charged or
reactivated in any way. They may not be dis-
mantled, thrown into fire, or short-circuited.
• Always keep batteries out of the reach of
children.
• Do not use rechargeable batteries!
• The cleaning and user-maintenance may not
be carried out by children without supervision.
• Clean the batteries and the device contacts as
necessary and before inserting the batteries.
• Do not expose the batteries to extreme
conditions (e.g. radiators or direct sunlight).
Otherwise there is an increased risk of leaks.
• Warning. Flat batteries must be disposed of
immediately. Keep new and used batteries
out of reach of children. Consult a doctor
immediately if you suspect that batteries have
been swallowed or inserted into a part of the
body.
Danger!
• Handle a damaged or leaking battery with
extreme care and dispose of it properly and im-
mediately. Wear gloves to handle the battery.
• If you come into contact with battery acid then
wash the affected area with soap and water.
If battery acid gets in your eye rinse it out with
water and seek medical help immediately!
• Do not short-circuit the terminals.
Inserting/replacing the
batteries
WARNING! Observe the following
instructions to avoid mechanical and
electrical damage.
Two batteries are enclosed with the product, these
can be removed from the packaging and inserted
into the product before using it for the first time.
When the batteries are flat, you can replace them.
1. Remove the cover (1a) from the battery com-
partment (1b) (Fig. A).
Note: the flowers can fall out when you turn
the product over. Hold onto the flowers to
avoid the cable being torn out.
2. Carefully remove the flat batteries from the
battery holder (1c) and replace them with
new batteries (Fig. B).
Note: check the plus/minus poles of the
batteries and insert them correctly.
The batteries must be completely inside the
battery compartment.
3. Close the battery compartment (1b) again
with the cover (1a) (Fig. A).
Turning the light on and off
(Fig. C)
Slide the switch (1d) to turn the product ‘ON’
and ‘OFF’.
Note: a timer function is integrated into the
‘ON’ switch position. When the timer function is
activated the light turns on for six hours and off
for 18 hours. This rhythm repeats daily.
There is an ‘ON/OFF’ label on the battery
compartment (1b) for better orientation.
Use
The product can be placed indoors.
Note: do not place the product on delicate
surfaces. This can lead to scratches.
Warning! The wires, including plug connec-
tion, must be completely inside the product.
Storage, cleaning
When not in use, always store the product dry,
clean, without batteries and at room tempera-
ture. Turn of the product before cleaning. Do not
clean with water. Wipe the outside clean with a
dry cloth only. If necessary, clean textile flowers
with a duster or brush. Do not clean the inside of
the vase.
IMPORTANT! Never clean the product with
harsh cleaning agents.
