- Do not use combinations of old and new batter-
ies or rechargeable batteries.
- Store batteries in a dry and cool, not damp,
place.
- Never throw batteries into fire.
- Do not short-circuit batteries.
- Disposable batteries also lose part of their ener-
gy during storage.
- Remove the batteries if the device is not in use.
- Discharged batteries must be immediately re-
moved in order to avoid battery leakage and
thus damage to the device.
- Empty batteries or used rechargeable batters
must be disposed of properly.
- Store disposable batteries separately from dis-
charged batteries, in order to avoid mix-ups.

are replaced with the wrong type.
6. Start-up
1. Remove all packaging materials.
2. Check whether all parts are available and un-
damaged.
If this is not the case, notify the specified service
address.
6.1 Inserting/replacing the batter-
ies (B)
Before using the unit for the first time OR when the
LEDs become dim, the music quieter or the moving
parts slower, the batteries
2 must be inserted OR
replaced.
For this, proceed as follows:
1. Switch the product
1 off (see “6.2. Use”)
2. Completely unscrew the locking screw on the
underside with an appropriate screwdriver and
remove (1).
Unlock (2) and remove (3) the cover

battery compartment

3. Remove any depleted batteries from the battery
compartment

4. (3) Insert the 3 supplied batteries
2 OR 3 new
LR6/AA batteries into the battery compartment
4 according to the polarity.
5. Afterwards, close the battery compartment
4 .
The product
1 is now ready to use.

Set up the product
1 in an appropriate place.
NOTE!
- The surface should be even, so that the product
1 cannot fall over. The place should have suffi-
cient free space around the product
1 .
- Place a protective blanket underneath the
product
1 . Sensitive surfaces could become
scratched by the product
1 .
6.2 Use
On/off switching and activating moving
parts, music and timer (C)
You can switch the following modes with the switch
5 on the back of the product 1 :
ON1: Light + Motion + Timer
OFF: switched off
ON2: Light + Motion + Music
Timer function
The product
1 is equipped with a timer function.
When the “ON1” mode is selected, the timer func-
tion is turned on. If the timer function is switched on,
the product
1 will switch off automatically after 6
hours. After another 18 hours, the product
1 will
automatically switch back on. As long as the switch
5 is left in the “ON1” position, this daily rhythm will
be repeated.
NOTE!
The timer function works without the music. This
means that after 18 hours, the light and motion func-
tion the objects will be activated, but the music will
not be started.
NOTE!
- The product
1 has 8 Christmas melodies. If the
“ON2” mode is selected, these 8 Christmas mel-
odies are played back one after the other in a
continuous loop.
- No selection of Christmas melodies can be
made.
- The speaker or speakers
6 (Fig. B) is/are locat-
ed at the bottom of the product
1 . Therefore, do
not place the product
1 on a surface that is too
soft. The sound will otherwise be too muffled.
NOTE!
Risk of material damage
- Ensure that the moving parts
7 (Fig. A) of the
product
1 are not restricted or impeded in their
range of movement. There is a risk of material
damage.
- Remove any objects in the movement radii be-
fore start-up.
7. Cleaning and care instructions

Before cleaning, you must remove
the batteries from the battery
compartment. There is a risk of
electric shock!
- clean only with a feather duster
- contaminants may be blown away

do not use any strong detergents and/or chemi-
cals
- do not immerse in water
- store in a cool, dry place and protected from UV
light
8. Conformity declaration
This device complies with the fundamental
requirements and other relevant regula-
tions of the European Electromagnetic
Compatibility Directive 2014/30/EU and the RoHS
Directive 2011/65/EU. The complete original con-
formity declaration is available from the importer.
9. Disposal
Disposal of the packaging

The packaging and operat-
ing instructions are made of
100 % environmentally
friendly materials, which you may dispose of at local
recycling centres.
Disposal of the product
The product may not be disposed of with nor-
mal household waste. Please find out about
disposal options for the product from your lo-
cal authority or town administration.
Disposal of the battery / rechargeable
batterie
- Defective or used rechargeable batteries
have to be recycled in accordance with Di-
rective 2006/66/EC and its amendments.
- Batteries and disposable batteries are not per-
mitted to be disposed of with household waste.
They contain harmful heavy metals. Marking: Pb
(= lead), Hg (= mercury), Cd (= cadmium). You
are legally obligated to return used batteries
and rechargeable batteries. After use, you can
either return batteries to our point of sale or in
the direct vicinity (e.g. with a retailer or in munic-
ipal collection centres) free of charge. Batteries
and rechargeable batteries are marked with a
crossed-out waste bin.
10. Warranty
Warranty from TRADIX GmbH & Co. KG
Dear customer, the warranty on this product is 3
years from the purchase date. In the event of defects
in this product, you are entitled to exercise your stat-
utory rights against the seller of the product. These
statutory rights are not limited by our warranty de-
scribed in the following.
11. Warranty conditions
The warranty begins on the date of purchase. Please
keep the original receipt. This document is required
as verification of the purchase.
If a material or manufacturing defect arises within three
years from the purchase date of this product, the prod
-
uct will be repaired or replaced, as per our choice, at
no charge to you. This warranty service requires the
submission of the purchase receipt and the defective
product within the three-year period and a short writ
-
ten description of the defect and when it arose.
If the defect is covered by our warranty, the repaired
or a new product will be returned to you. The war-
ranty period does not restart with the repair or re-
placement of the product.
