CAUTION
• Before using the softener reservoir to dispense
detergent, empty and clean the reservoir and
run the ezDispense
TM
Nozzle Clean function, or
the reservoir may fail to dispense properly.
Cleaning the ezDispense Reservoirs
Use this function to periodically clean the
ezDispense reservoirs or before changing the
softener reservoir to a detergent reservoir.
• This function cleans residual detergent or
softener in the hose connected to the
ezDispense (when changing the type of
detergent or softener).
1 Press the Settings button.
2 Select ezDispense
TM
Nozzle Clean and select
a dispenser.
3 Fill the dispenser with water and press the
Start button to start cleaning.
CAUTION
• Before using the function, remove the
ezDispense reservoir, clean it, fill it with water
and reassemble it in the dispenser drawer.
Cleaning the ezDispense Drawer
Remove and clean the ezDispense reservoirs every
time you refill them or change to a new type of
detergent or softener.
CAUTION
• Do not spray water inside the washer. Doing so
may cause a fire or electric shock.
• Slide the detergent dispenser drawer out or in
slowly and use both hands for safety. Failure to
do so can damage the washer or cause the
detergent or softener to leak out of the
ventilation holes in the reservoirs.
1 Turn off the washer, and unplug it.
2 Press Push on the dispenser drawer as
shown. Use the handle to pull the tray out.
3 Turn the caps on the dispenser drawer to the
left to open the two reservoirs.
• Rinse the drawer in warm water to dissolve
any detergent or softener scale.
4 Clean the outside and inside of the
ezDispense reservoirs with warm water.
• Use a soft cloth or brush to remove any
residue.
• Do not use soap when cleaning the drawer,
reservoirs and inserts.
