24 OPERATION
NOTE
• The Simmer function is not available when using
the Sync mode in the cooking zone with the Sync
function.
Using the Sync Mode
Sync
The 2 left side cooking zones can be combined to
create one large cooking zone with the Sync
function. This is especially convenient when
cooking in dutch ovens or other large oblong pans.
1 Place the cookware over the 2 left side
cooking zones.
2 Press Sync to activate both cooking zones.
The power level display of the left rear
element will blink.
3 Select the desired power level.
4 Select power level 0 to deactivate the Sync
mode.
NOTE
• If one of the 2 left side burners is functioning,
cancel the burner to use the Sync feature.
Using the Triple Elements
This feature is only available on some models.
The triple element, located in the center position,
offers three different sized elements to
accommodate different pan sizes.

To Activate the Triple Element
1 Select the desired power level of the triple
element. The entire triple element will
activate. The indicator light below Triple turns
on.
2 Press the button for the triple cooking zone
again to activate the dual element. The
indicator light below Dual turns on.
3 Press the button for the triple cooking zone
again to activate the inner element. The inner
element will activate.
Using the Dual Elements
The dual element, located in the right front
position, offers two different sized elements to
accommodate different pan sizes. Use one or two
sections of the element to accommodate different
pan sizes.
