1. SAFETY ADVICES
Set up and connection
- Set up the mixer on a level and firm surface so that it is stable!
- Do not connect the electric motor to household sockets! Connection only via a special supply point
(e.g. construction power distributor with fault current circuit breaker)
- Inspect connecting cable for signs of damage or ageing before use.
- If the connecting cable is defective, the mixer must not be put into operation.
- Only use connecting cables of at least 3 x 1.5 mm2 of quality H 07 RN-F with rubber-covered
connector!
- Only use splash-proof plugs and couplings!
- Route the connecting cable in such a way that it is not kinked or crushed and that the plug
connections do not get wet!
- Do not connect the mixer to any temporary electrical connections, consult a qualified electrician if
necessary.
- Ensure that the coupling of the connection cable is securely seated in the plug housing of the
switch-plug unit.
- For internal combustion engines, observe the notes in the separate operating instructions!
Operation and handling
- The mixer may only be operated by persons who are familiar with the operating instructions and
who also have the necessary knowledge about the preparation of concrete and mortar.
- Only fill materials into the mixing drum that are suitable for the production of concrete, mortar or
similar.
- Do not put any living creatures in the mixing drum.
- When operating with combustion engines, hearing protection must be worn by the operator.
- Only operate the mixer with the motor compartment closed.
- The operating side is opposite the exhaust side! The EMERGENCY OFF switch is located on the
control side of the motor housing
- Only operate the mixer with complete and undamaged protective devices.
- Within the working area of the mixer the operator is responsible for third parties.
- In the working environment, the relevant accident prevention regulations and safety regulations
must be observed!
- Keep people away from the swivel area of the mixing drum.
Caution:
Rotating mixing tools.
Do not reach into the running mixing drum!
- Ensure the correct direction of rotation of the mixing drum (to the left when looking into the
opening)!
- If the mixing drum is blocked, switch off the motor immediately!
- For internal combustion engines, observe the notes in the separate operating instructions! Check
oil level before each start-up!
