How to configure keyboard language in UEFI BIOS
Follow the instructions to configure keyboard language in UEFI BIOS.
Step 1. Enter the UEFI BIOS menu.
Step 2. Clean all thermal grease that has been used and then apply new thermal grease if needed.
Step 3. Click Config ➙ Keyboard/Mouse ➙ Keyboard Layout, and then select the keyboard language.
LCD unit
Follow the instructions to replace the LCD unit.
For access of ThinkPad L14 Gen 5 models, remove this FRU:
• “Base cover assembly” on page 72
For access of ThinkPad L16 Gen 1 models, remove these FRUs in order:
• “Base cover assembly” on page 72
• “USB bracket” on page 86
