Remove the hinge cover (for 16–inch models)
Make sure the following FRUs (CRUs) have been removed.
“Remove the lower case” on page 28
“Remove the LCD unit” on page 55
Step 1. Slide the hinge cover to the right side and remove the hinge cover.
