Remove the solid-state drive
Remove the 2242 solid-state drive, thermal pad, and holder (for selected
models)
Make sure the following FRUs (or CRUs) have been removed.
“Remove the lower case” on page 28
Step 1. Disconnect the battery pack cable from the system board and peel off the system board mylar.
Attention: Use your fingernail to pull the connector to unplug it. Do not pull the cable.

Step 2. Remove one screw and remove the 2242 solid-state drive by pulling it away from the slot.
