Prewash
(Press and hold touch-key)
For heavily soiled laundry. Not using this function will
save energy.
• Select a compatible programme using the selection
programme selection dial.
• Press and hold the Water Mode touch-key for 3
seconds.
• Display will count down 3—2—1 and the Prewash
indicator
is shown.
Child lock
Prevents children from tampering with the machine
whilst a programme is running.
Activate by pressing the Steam touch-key for 3
seconds.
• Display will count down 3—2—1.
• When activated,
is displayed.
• If
is turned, or a touch-key pressed while
the child lock is ON; an alert tone sounds and
flashes. The alert will sound up to 5 presses or dial
interactions.
Deactivate by pressing the Steam touch-key for 3
seconds.
• Display will count down 3—2—1
.
• When deactivated,
is no longer displayed.
• NOTE: If
is turned to OFF the child lock is
deactivated.
• The child lock is not deactivated following a power
failure or when the machine is unplugged.
