After you have made some of the recipes supplied you may wish to adapt a few of your own
recipes. Start by selecting one of the recipes in this booklet, which is similar to your own and use
this as a guide.
• Makesureyoudonotexceedmaximumquantities–themaximumcapacityis1500ml
• Alwaysaddliquidingredientstotheblenderrst,followedbysolidordryingredients
• Ensureingredientsarechoppedupintosmallevensizedpieces.Donottryandblendlarge
food items
• DONOTusetheblendertomashpotatoesormixheavydough
• Youcanreplacefruitswithyourownchoiceofsimilarfruits,butmayneedtoadjusttheliquid
content depending on the desired thickness of the smoothie
HINTS AND TIPS
• DO NOT use the blender for very hard food products, such as bones, shelled nuts, frozen
meats etc, as this could damage the blade and cause the motor to seize
• Allowfrozenfoodstothawslightlyandbreakintosmallerpiecesbeforeusing
• AVOIDmixingexcessivelyhotliquidsasthiscancauseanexcessofpressuretobuildupinside
the blender and the lid come off causing the contents to splash out.
• Allowhotfoodandliquidstocooltoroomtemperaturebeforeblending.
• Addliquidingredientstotheblenderjugrst,followedbysolidordryingredients.Thiswill
ensure a more consistent blend
• Theremovable60mlmeasuringcupinthelidmakesiteasyforadditionalingredientstobe
added whilst you blend
• Always make sure the blender jug and blade are completely dry before processing dry
ingredients such as making breadcrumbs or chopping fresh herbs
