4.3. Connecting To A Host Computer
Once the LaCie Biggest F800 has finished the initialization of the array, you will be ready to connect the LaCie Biggest F800
to a host computer. This section is divided into the two different interface connectivity methods:
• 4.3.1. FireWire 800
• 4.3.2. Hi-Speed USB 2.0
Important Info:
The initialization must be completed before connecting the interface cable. Otherwise, the LaCie
Biggest F800 will not be recognized by the host computer.

The two interfaces, FireWire and USB, cannot be used at the same time. The LaCie Biggest F800
can be connected to a host computer by using one or the other.
