8 VS-1616D – Overview
You can operate the VS-1616D via the front panel buttons or remotely via:
• RS-232 serial commands transmitted by a touch screen system, PC or other
serial controller
• Ethernet over a LAN
• The infrared remote control transmitter
• Kramer K-Router Plus software application
The VS-1616D is a sophisticated device but has nevertheless been
designed to be simple to operate using an intuitive front panel keypad. For
details of how to route inputs to outputs, see Section 6.4
.
The VS-1616D is housed in a 19” rack-mountable enclosure.

Buttons 14, 15 and 16 function as the TAKE, MENU and LOCK buttons
