7.6 Updating software
If the manufacturer has updated software for the inverter,
this can be loaded into the inverter. The software is
updated to the latest version. If an update is available,
you will find this on the manufacturer's website, in the
download area.
Procedure
Use a smartphone or tablet with the KOSTAL PIKO CI
app installed. Proceed as follows:
1. Download the inverter update from the manufactur-
er's website to your smartphone/tablet.
2. Launch the app on your smartphone or tablet that
you are using for commissioning.
3. Establish the connection between the smartphone/
tablet and your inverter.
4. Go to Settings > Basic Settings > Firmware
Upgrade and search for the update on your smart-
phone or tablet.

The inverter recognises the update file and starts the
installation.
5. If you want to install the update, confirm with OK.

The update is installed. The inverter is then restarted.
The update may take up to 10 minutes.

After the update, the app shows the successful
installation.
6. In the app, check the version of the software.
7. Log the update and software version.
