7. Establish a LAN connection from the KOSTAL Smart
Energy Meter to the router.
8. In this variant, the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter runs
as a slave and transmits data to the inverter.
9. Set the KOSTAL Smart Energy Meter to ON under
Modbus settings > Modbus TCP > Slave (Activate
TCP slave).
10. To make the home consumption visible in the
KOSTAL Solar Portal, set it to ON in the KOSTAL
Smart Energy Meter under Inverter > Solar Portal
> Activate Solar Portal.
11. After commissioning, the following settings still have
to be configured in the KOSTAL PIKO CI app.
12. The use and installation position of the KOSTAL
Smart Energy Meter (KSEM) must be set in the
KOSTAL PIKO CI app on the master inverter.
This can be set under Settings > Inverter settings >
Power adjustment/control > Energy management
> Power limitation function > KSEM and
Settings > Inverter settings > Power adjustment/
control > Energy management > Energy meter
position > Grid connection point.
13. The Modbus IP address used in the KOSTAL Smart
Energy Meter can be set under Settings > Power
adjustment/control > Energy management >
IPaddress of the energy meter.
