Installation of the cooker hood

8.6 Connection to the power supply
The appliance cable is fitted with a standard plug.
To connect it to a socket, follow the instructions below:
• Do not connect the appliance to the mains
until it has been properly installed!
• Before connecting the appliance, make sure that
the local mains voltage (V) and frequency (Hz)
match the specifications on the rating plate!
• If the plug is no longer accessible after installation,
ensure that an easily accessible all-pole circuit breaker
(fuse) with a contact gap of at least 3 mm is integrated
into the appliance's circuit, which complies with the appli-
cable regulations and ensures complete disconnection
of the appliance from the power supply in an emergency!
• Connect the plug of the mains cable directly
to a properly earthed socket outlet near the appliance!
• Do not use multiple sockets or extension cables
to connect the appliance to the mains!
These do not guarantee the necessary safety!
• Make sure that the cable cannot be kinked or twisted
during and after installation and that its temperature
never exceeds 75˚C.
• Hang the hood carefully on the screws
and then tighten them from the inside of the hood.
• For exhaust air operation, attach an exhaust hose
(diameter 150 mm) to the air outlet of the hood
and connect it to the exhaust air opening.
• Make sure that the metal grease filter is fully reinsert-
ed before using the appliance.
