Installation of the cooker hood
8.4 Installation preparation and instructions
CAUTION!
Risk of injury!
Some components of the unit can be sharp-edged!
Protect yourself from injury during installation
,
e.g. by wearing work gloves!
The appliance is heavy!
Do not move and mount the appliance alone,
but with at least one other person
and use suitable aids!
Notes before installation
• Follow the instructions given in the chapter "Notes before use"
before installing the cooker hood!
• Clean the appliance and the area around the installation position
thoroughly before and after installation so that no dust,
residues of transport protection materials or installation residues
can be sucked in during commissioning!
• Have the following ready for the fitting of the appliance:
• Cooker hood
• Supplied accessories including this manual
• Procured accessories according to the desired
operating mode (see corresponding sections
of this chapter)
• Pencil or similar for markings
• Measuring tool and spirit level
• Screwdriver
• Drilling machine, powered screwdriver or similar
• Jigsaw or similar
• Use only the fixing screws supplied with the product
for installation, or those of the same type,
as specified under "Packing list"!
