Installation of the cooker hood
8.3 Installation dimensions / alignment
ATTENTION!
Risk of damage and malfunction!
If the distance between the cooktop and the cooker hood
is too small, the appliance may be damaged!
If the distance is too great, the suction power can be
severely restricted!
Observe the following distance specifications
or adapt them to the safety distances of the cooking appliance(s)
used, if these are specified larger by the manufacturer!
To ensure optimum extraction performance, the cooker hood should be
installed at a distance of 65-70 cm above the cooktop.
However, observe the following guidelines according to your hob type:
Hob type Distance(d)
Glass ceramic hob / Cast iron hotplates 65 cm
Gas hob 70 cm
Cooktops with coal / oil / wood firing 85 cm
