Installation of the cooker hood
• Carefully tap a dowel into each drill hole with a hammer,
place the wall bracket for the hood body against it
and secure it to the wall by screwing the ST4×30mm
screws supplied into the dowels and tightening them.
• With the help of another person, lift the hood body
and hang it on the bracket.
• From the inside of the hood, mark the positions
of the screw holes in the back of the hood
on the wall (For this step, open the front flap of the
appliance and remove the metal grease filter
as described in the corresponding section under
"Cleaning...").
• Remove the shaft again.
Place the upper corners of the shaft brackets
on the corresponding markings
and mark the screw holes on the wall.
• Drill 2 holes at the marked points
according to the length + 10 mm and the diameter
of the dowels.
• Pull the upper edge of the inner (upper) shaft part
upwards to the required height
and mark the position of the upper rear corners
of both shaft parts on the wall.
• Re-hang the hood and fix its back to the wall /
the dowels using the additional ST4×30mm screws
supplied.
• Assemble the telescopic exhaust air shaft from the
two shaft parts by sliding them into each other
and place it on the hood body.
• Remove the hood body, drill holes at the marked points
according to the length + 10 mm and the diameter
of the dowels and carefully tap one of the other dowels
supplied into each of the drill holes with a hammer.
