8.5 Local Recording
P3 Mini supports local recording by inserting an SD card or a USB flash drive into the encoder's USB port. Here are the
specific recording operations:
1) Ensure that the P3 Mini is equipped with a USB flash drive or SD card. In the WEB interface, navigate to "Record" -> "
Devices" in the top navigation bar to verify that the storage device is recognized. Refer to the following figure:

2) Recording settings allow you to configure recording formats such as MP4/MOV, file splitting methods (no splitting, by
duration, by size), and recording strategies (stop recording when full or automatically overwrite old files). (For detailed
parameter explanations, refer to Section 6.6.4.).

3) Click “ ” to start recording. When recording starts successfully, the recording button turns red. To stop recording,
click the recording button again.
